Going solar in Iowa may be getting a little more cost-effective, in part thanks to the recent approval of the state’s annual solar tax credit by the Ways and Means Committee. This increase could put more money back in Iowa solar homeowner’s pockets, and allow for residential solar power installations, as well as solar installed by businesses, to reap the benefits of renewable energy through the solar incentives of a decreased tax burden.
